I had a similar GS that came out at the same time, special SE Asia edition, with same strap issues of thickness
The problem I had was to match a color that was different all the time, from whatever angle you view it.
Purple-ish angle
Deep blue angle
Deep navy - black look
I don't have any pictures of the straps I tried - none of them satisfactory so I sold it one to someone else.
